Abstract
An addition theorem of Wigner rotation matrices is derived. The kinematic constraints on the photodissociation processes of triatomic molecules can be inferred from the resolvent of rotation matrices. The kinematic distribution functions of rotational and orbital angular momenta for arbitrary molecular configurations are presented for the first time.
