Abstract

This paper investigates an adaptive power management system for monitoring equipment such as intelligent gateway. The proposed method is designed to avoid shutdown of intelligent gateway caused by current fluctuation of the transmission line in one day. A day is divided into multiple monitoring cycles, which are further divided into full-power working time slice and sleep time slice. Under the condition of considering the expected minimum power of the battery and the expected monitoring frequency of the intelligent gateway, combined with the working condition of the intelligent gateway and the change value of the minimum power of the battery on the previous day, the system adaptively adjusts the full-power working time of the intelligent gateway on that day, so as to plan the proportion of the full-power working time slice to the sleep time slice in a monitoring cycle, which achieves the effect of adjusting the average power of the intelligent gateway. The system has great significance for improving the operation stability of monitoring equipment such as intelligent gateway.
