Abstract

The inverter nonlinear voltage error deteriorates the performance of several applications in drive technology, like encoderless field oriented control at low speed or motor parameter identification at standstill. This paper presents a method for identification and compensation of this nonlinear voltage drop. The identification process is executed off-line and in standstill without any extra measurement equipment. Experimental results are also presented to demonstrate the performance and the feasibility of the proposed solution.
