An a‐mazing way to deal with performance‐based assessment in early childhood education

Abstract

This article discusses the lessons learned by the implementation of Colorado Senate Bill 99–154, a performance‐based teacher education bill with implications for other Early Childhood Programs that want to promote a developmentally appropriate standard‐based program. A parable about change is used to make a point.
