Abstract

The present study originates in the A.’s 1997 doctoral dissertation at Yale University and is the latest in a series of monographs and edited volumes dedicated to personifications in the ancient Greek world. It consists of twelve occasionally far too brief chapters, a catalogue, and seven indices.
