Abstract
As a sociologist Amiran Kurtkan Bilgiseven also had some studies on Islamic Sufism. She studied the important characters of Islamic Sufism history, absorbed their thoughts,developed some new understandings by an individual point of view. Kurgan dealt with the Islamic Sufism sociologically and also she presented a new understanding by reviewing this field of science
