Abstract

Abstract Temperature dependences were studied for the four first coefficients in the series expansion of permittivity relative to the electric field: e = α0 + α2E2 + α4E4 + α6E6 + … in TGS crystals with lattice defects induced by the introduction of Cu+2 ions. It was ascertained that in the temperature range from some tens of a few degrees above Tc the values of the power exponents γ2n in relations α2n = A2nτ−γ2n are in agreement with the mean field theory. Experimental relations between the amplitudes |A2|Ao ≅ |A6|A2| ≅ |A|A4| were also found.
