Abstract
Measurements of the within-an-hour and day-to-day variability of signal and noise at frequencies of 7–20 MHz on a 2300 km path are reported and compared with the CCIR reports and previxous measurements over shorter paths. The results are of importance in validating or modifying standards for reliability and compatibility determination in radio service planning.
