Abstract

Abstract Mesoporous zeolites with a chain-like morphology were synthesized by adding a rationally designed carbamate-linked organosilane to conventional alkaline zeolite synthesis mixtures. The structure was confirmed by a complementary combination of X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and nitrogen adsorption–desorption measurements. The XRD patterns and SEM images of the samples acquired at different crystallization time clearly showed the change of crystallinity and the forming process of the morphology.
