Abstract

A cat, previously found to be free of trematodes, was infected with Amphimerus pseudofelineus in feeding flesh of Catostomus commersonii from Lake Manitoba. This finding extends the known range of distribution of this trematode into Canada. It is also the first record of the second intermediate host of this opisthorchid.
