Abstract

In this letter, the Pascal matrix is used to transform the normalized analog transfer function H(s) from the lowpass to the bandpass discrete transfer function H(z). The inverse Pascal matrix can be obtained without computing the determinant; therefore, if the H(z) is known, then the associated analog transfer function H(s) is very easy to obtain.
