Abstract
For possible applications in modern power supplies, amorphous soft magnetic Fe—Ni-alloys with positive saturation magnetostriction λ s ( λ s θ + 10 −5), and nearly non-magnetostrictive alloys, containing Co, Fe and Ni, were investigated. Calculations of the output power for different transformers in switching-mode power supplies are given.
