Abstract
Summary Reovirus type 3 capsid proteins were fractionated by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis into three bands. The NH 2 -terminal sequence of the proteins in each band was determined by sequential Edman degradation and found to be Pro-Gly-Gly-Val-. Proteins present as less than 15% of the molecules in each band and proteins with blocked NH 2 -termini would not have been detected in this study.
