Abstract

Porous polymeric sorbents showing selective CO2 absorption over N2 are prepared by conventional radical copolymerization of divinylbenzene and 4‐vinylbenzyl chloride under solvothermal conditions, followed by surface modification of the pores with polyamines. The amine‐functionalized porous materials that interact with CO2 via chemisorption exhibit exceptionally high CO2/N2 selectivity of up to 373 times, determined by ideal adsorbed solution theory (IAST). image
