Abstract
This brief, signed by twenty-six professors of antitrust and sports law, as amici curiae, was filed today in O'Bannon v. NCAA, in which a plaintiff class of student athletes won Sherman Act injunction against NCAA rules precluding them from sharing in certain licensing revenues. Amici support plaintiffs in the NCAA's appeal before the Ninth Circuit, arguing that the trial court adequate explained a finding of liability under the ordinary rule of reason.
