Abstract
- Social networks are a new communication tool on the Net; they're uncreaslingly, developing modifying the concept of "social network", the perception of geographic distance and of the emotional closeness. Virtual space can be personalized and anyone can choose his friends for sharing and enricing. The topic of this paper is the use of Facebook and its implication on the interpersonal relation- ship in the post-modern society. It faces the theme of the "mediatic empaty" and of the "emotional consumerism", integrating also the opinions of a group of users wich has been contacted by our research group.
