Lennep, who was present many places such as from Izmir to Amasya, Samsun to Tokat, Sivas to Yozgat, made observations about local people's religious belief, daily life, means of living and so forth. He wrote down all of these details meticulously. Besides, he gave historical, geographical and physica linformation about the places which he visited. In this sense, Lennep's work which is called "Travels in Little Known Parts of Minor Asia” is very important from the point of setting light to conditions of that period.
