Abstract
While there are national organizations that support the ongoing development and maturation of the faith community nurse and specialty practice, the local and state organizations are often life lines to faith community nurses who work primarily in faith communities of varying religious denominations in a very independent manner. This chapter will discuss the different national local, regional, and state networks that provide ongoing education, support, and resources to faith community nurses working in local faith communities. These same faith community organizations are at work with local and state governments to highlight the value and impact faith community nurses have on a daily basis in the faith communities where they serve.
