Abstract

AHA stage 1 hypertension (HTN) (blood pressure [BP] 130-139/80-89mmHg on ≥2 occasions 4 hours apart < 20 weeks’ gestational age [GA]) is associated with preeclampsia, preterm and early term delivery and low birth weight. We sought to examine the association between stage 1 HTN and perinatal outcomes at term.
