Abstract
To continue its goal of providing an event to present and discuss the latest, cutting-edge advances in diabetes research, prevention and care, despite the COVID-19 pandemic making it impossible to provide an in-person event this year, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) held its 80th Scientific Sessions on a virtual platform, allowing attendees access to eposters and recorded presentations Over 800 presentations and 200 virtual sessions and awards lectures were available, including the latest findings and new data from clinical trials and studies into the treatment of diabetes and related comorbidities A virtual exhibition hall was also provided so companies could continue to highlight their developments to interested attendees This report is on the latest treatment developments presented at the virtual sessions
