Abstract
ERY LITTLE is known yet about the field of comparative police administration, especially in the form of empirical data about the attitudes of police officers toward their official duties.' This study will present a comparison of the attitudes of American and Pakistani police officers, with analysis focused on the correlation between socioeconomic variables and policemen's attitudes toward their duties.
