Abstract
Background: The ameloblastic fibro-odontoma is a tumor of mixed odontogenic origin (epithelial and mesenchymal). It has a higher incidence in young adults and in posterior regions of lower jaw. Normally discovered in routine imaging tests for unerupted teeth, it presents as a radiolucent image circumscribed with radiopaque material calcified inside.
