Abstract
Starting from the idea of activity orders, we define a family of orders on the set of closed intervals of a distributive lattice L, that will allow us to set up some preorders associated to the ambiguity and fuzziness in order to measure the ambiguity and fuzziness degree of any closed interval in [0, 1].
