Abstract

Last week physicians voted to keep some form of confidentiality in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment — or at least to involve privacy experts in making changes — while at the same time calling to make it easier for electronic medical records to include notating SUD issues. This and other votes came during the annual meeting of the American Medical Association's (AMA) House of Delegates.
