We believe the following case to be of interest because a chest x-ray was reported as normal a relatively short time before the abnormal film was taken, and the progression of the disease was well demonstrated by serial x-ray examinations over a period of approximately 18 months. Our own experience has led us to the conclusion that a brief evaluation of diagnostic methods would be useful. Theories regarding the origin of the particular tissue have...Bibliography1. NeubergerGeever KTEF: Alveolar cell tumor of the human lung, Arch. Path. 33: 551-569, 1942. Google Scholar2.
