Abstract
The political and constitutional work done at Cadiz dealt with the fundamental principles of organization of the national military force. The extraordinary importance of the political and military issues resulted in proposals of elaborating a military constitution, better to say, a political Constitution related to military issues. Alvaro Florez Estrada played a fundamental role at this aim, becoming the most brilliant theorist of the military revolution of Cadiz. Submission date: 11/11/2003 Acceptance date: 24/02/2003
