Abstract
AbstractIn airborne collision avoidance system (ACAS) and air traffic control radar beacon system, altitude tracking filter is used for altitude prediction. These trackers are known to have large error when the data are lost. This paper presents the new prediction filter to improve the accuracy in this coast situation. the extrapolation of natural spline function is used for this purpose. the simulation shows this tracking filter has better performance than conventional filter.
