Abstract
The health sector of Bangladesh has improved a lot in the last decade which can be seen in improved immunization coverage and life expectancy of citizens. But still, there is some disparity between the healthcare system of urban and rural areas as most of the qualified doctors provide their services in urban areas only.telemedicine has an opportunity to play a vital role to reduce this disparity in the healthcare system of Bangladesh. This paper presents the the role of telemedicine in reaching people, especially in COVID pandemic, to provide adequate healthcare service.
