Abstract

This article proposes sheep production criteria of environmental sustainability in the northern region of Huila, in the living areas of Tropical dry forest (bs-T ) and very dry tropical forest (bms-T ), as an alternative for economic development and social. It also proposes the adoption of appropriate management practices and the inclusion of advanced technologies in the processes of reproduction and animal feed to increase productivity levels. On the other hand, outlines the commitment of sheep agribusiness activity by transforming meat and milk products with added value, and use of the products.
