Abstract

AbstractThis article deals with the source localisation problem when the receiver is moving over time, and the sources are sparse across the area. In addition, only one of the sources is active at each time instant, means that the sources are pulse transmitters. The problem was first formulated such as a dictionary learning problem for sparse representation. Then, an alternating minimisation approach to estimate the position of the sources and their signals iteratively is proposed. Simulation results in different scenarios demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method relative to state‐of‐the‐art methods.
