Abstract

Disturbances in circulating phospholipids levels and their association with the phenotype have been observed in inflammatory disorders and allergic diseases, such as asthma. However, the role and related mechanisms of metabolites in the development of AD are rarely known. We sought to apply serum untargeted metabolomic profiling to identify pathogenic mechanisms and candidate disease biomarkers in children with AD.
