Abstract

Introduction: Physical fitness is pivotal for cardiovascular and musculoskeletal health. However, the effect of muscular fitness on cardiovascular health has not been examined in Parkinson's disease (PD) patients. Therefore, muscle strength of the handgrip, leg, and arm and central and peripheral measures of the cardiovascular function in PD were compared between PD patients and healthy control (HC) Additionally, the relationship between muscular and cardiovascular indices was examined in PD.
