Abstract

Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) affects 1-5% of reproductive age women, with a prevalence of 7.46% in the Indian population. Although the role of genetic modifications of the X-chromosome has been associated with idiopathic RPL in some populations, no such study is available in the Indian context. This study, therefore, aims to elucidate the role of alterations in the transcript levels of genes associated with X-chromosome inactivation (XCI) as a cause for predisposition to RPL.
