Abstract

1. 1. There was a higher level of total protein (mg/g wet wt.) in the liver of cold-acclimated as compared with warm-acclimated trout. 2. 2. Cold-acclimated trout had a higher level of incorporation of 14C-leucine into total liver protein than did warm-acclimated fish. 3. 3. There was a decreased secretory rate in the cold-acclimated fish.
