Abstract
An attempt has been made to obtain the sensitivity response function as well as the resolution of a PM-355 polymeric detector using the track etching kinematic theory of development of minor track diameter. The theoretical results are compared with the experimental data obtained from irradiating a set of samples with monoenergetic alpha particles at different selected dip angles.
