TO THEEDITOR:WereadwithinterestthearticlebyChanetal 1 in which they showed that -fetoprotein (AFP) response is an independent prognostic factor for overall survival in patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) receiving systemic doxorubicinbased chemotherapy.
