Abstract

1. A study was made of the possibility of allyl anionotropic rearrangement in the systems RR C(OH)CH = CX2. RR C(OH)CX = CHX and RR C(OH)CX = CX2. X being halogen. It was shown that when the substituents are alkyl groups rearrangement does not occur. 2. It was shown that rearrangement occurs in these systems when R = Ar and R = H. 3. It was found that CCl2 = CH-CH(OC2H3)CN does not undergo allyl anionotropic rearrangement, but readily undergoes allyl prototropic rearrangement in presence of triethylamine.
