Abstract
Abstract ’Allure’ (Pisum sativum L.) is a new white field pea, of French origin, released by Crop & Food Research for growing in the southern cropping regions of New Zealand. A semi‐leafless plant type with more upright growth habit, ‘Allure’ has out‐performed the commercial standards ‘Birte’ and ‘Bohatyr’ for yield and ease of harvest in four regional evaluation trials conducted between 1991 and 1994 in Southland, New Zealand.
