Abstract

It has become commonplace in discussions about Church life and work to complain about fatigue and futility in ministry. This seems to reflect the more widespread pressures on human beings to conceive themselves as 'entrepreneurial self', i. e. to continually perform better through risk-taking and management skills. - How can we talk about grace and love in this context in order not to succumb to such pressures?
