Abstract

All-conjugated polyelectrolyte block copolymers of the rod-rod type are generated in grafting from or catalyst-tranfer schemes. Their rigid-rod structure favours the formation of low-curvature vesicular and lamellar aggregates. Therefore, they are promising candidates for applications in electronic devices or sensors. Addition of oppositely charged surfactants or DNA results in the formation of ordered polyelectrolyte complexes.
