Abstract

Multiple gestations are a leading cause of preterm birth and neonatal morbidity, and reducing rates of multiple gestation with assisted reproductive technology (ART) has been a key focus over the past decade. Previous literature has suggested that parity may affect outcomes in multiple gestations, however this has not been studied with regards to the ART population.1 Therefore, this study sought to evaluate the effect of maternal parity on neonatal outcomes of twin pregnancies conceived spontaneously versus with ART.
