Abstract

In this paper, transmission characteristics of one-dimensional all superconducting photonic crystals (SPCs) containing high and low temperature superconducting materials have been investigated in visible light region. For superconductor materials, both of the temperature dependence of refractive index and the amount of zero London penetration depth (λ L (0)) are important parameters. According to this, results indicate that by selecting proper superconductors and their thicknesses a wide-band flat-top transmission spectra for SPC structures is acquirable.
