Abstract

Organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) are expected to be applied to flexible devices due to its low process temperature. OTFTs can be fully fabricated by solution process and it enables low-cost, high throughput manufacturing of active matrix display backplane. In this work, we have fabricated all solution-processed top-gated OTFTs by introducing a soluble organic semiconductor, a silver nanoparticle ink, and a screen printable silver paste. These OTFTs exhibited a mobility of 0.1 cm2/Vs, which is comparable to that of conventional amorphous silicon TFTs.
