Abstract

Novel transparent composite conductor composed of WOx/Ag nanowire (NW) on a flexible polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate with enhanced adhesion and stability, is prepared by all solution process. The WOx/Ag NW films exhibit low sheet resistance of 9.4 Ω/sq. and high optical transmittance of 82.6 %, these are superior to that of commercial ITO films on PET substrates. Meanwhile, the sheet resistance does not show great change after bending and taping tests, indicating a good flexibility and adhesion of AgNW to the PET. Moreover, WOx/AgNW thin films show a good stability to resist high temperature, high humidity and strong oxidation environment.
