Abstract

Abstract This article presents a simple proof that a symmetric random walk on a hexagonal lattice in R 2 is recurrent. The goal of this article is educational, to enrich the list of interesting and intuitively appealing examples for teaching probability to advanced undergraduate and first-year graduate students.
