Abstract

The polar orientation of fluorene-derivative molecules incorporated in a photoconducting polymer host is studied by means of all-optical poling. We investigate the influence of the donor and acceptor moieties on the induced polar order, we characterize the dynamics of the orientation process and suggest photoinduced reaction schemes by which an efficient all-optical poling is achieved.
