Abstract

An automorphic loop (or A-loop) is a loop whose inner mappings are automorphisms. An open problem in [P. Jedlička, M. K. Kinyon and P. Vojtěchovský, Nilpotency in automorphic loops of prime power order, J. Algebra350 (2012) 64–76] was: Are all A-loops of order p2 for some prime p associative? In this paper we give a positive answer to this problem.
