Abstract

Aim of this project is to provide better understanding of cloud in regards with its overall aspects like evolution, types, service models and so on. Cloud computing basically refers to as providing a host services online. Its various characteristics such as pay per use, self-service provision, migration facilities etc., have increased its demand in the present world. There is various cloud computing deployment model such as Private, public and hybrid. Each model has its own characteristics and advantages; accordingly, they are used. Also, we have various types of cloud computing services-IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. So, we can also state that cloud computing provides the services over network using software and hardware. The trace of Cloud Computing was originated back in 1960's and it is stated that by 2017 Indian public cloud market could hit the business of $1.7 Bn. It is also assumed that in near future the cloud market would increase trajectorially. There are various examples of cloud computing which play an important role in our day to day life like Google's Gmail, online-banking and social networks. Now a day Cloud computing is growing exponentially as various industries are getting aware of its cost saving benefits. Cloud Computation is very powerful model in technology which can provide much safer security of data then the traditional storage, so this is also diverting various companies to use cloud for their data storage. We have also given the advantage and disadvantage of the Cloud Computing. So, this paper gives you all over aspects of cloud computing which beneficial to researchers in their work.
