Abstract

Serum alkaline phosphatase isoenzymes have been examined in Nigerian subjects by cellulose acetate electrophoresis to determine the variations that may occur in the ethnic groups and to establish the normal patterns in health. The results have shown no differences in the isoenzyme distribution patterns in healthy Nigerian and Caucasian subjects.
