Abstract
The alignment of Kr II 4p45p (EJ)states after theAuger decay of the Kr I 3d95/25p (J = 1) resonancewas measured using photon-induced fluorescence spectroscopy(PIFS) and the alignment parameters A20 were calculatedwithin the stepwise decay model. Using the same wavefunctions,the angular distribution parameters of the Auger electronswere also calculated. Good agreement with the measured A20value and with published experimental and calculated values forβAug is obtained.
